Thread: Hello from Romania

Hi here, my name is Rares and i have started recently to shave with a straight razor. My fisrt attempt was 2 months ago with a shavette style razor. Now i have purchased a sharpening stone naniwa 3000/8000 a cheap leather strop and unfortunately a chinese double arrow razor. Hopefully in the near future i will come u with some money to buy a dovo best quality or a TI le dandy.

Thanks, i started reading a lot and actually five minutes ago i have completed my first straight razor shave. IT IS AMAZING. I am never going back to gilette razors. I hope that when i will be able to buy a decent razor the experience will be even better.

Welcome. It is great that you are already enjoying this method. If I remember correctly there are one or two members here living in Romania and a couple members originally from Romania. Keep learning and feel free to ask questions.
