Thread: Hello from LA!

So I already posted in the Razor section, figured I'd introduce myself here. I'm a 22 year old pre-med student who loves music and guitars, still somewhat new to straight razor shaving, although I have some experience. I got sick and tired of my Schick (is that how you spell it) Quattro, the Gillete Fusion, etc. They were all pretty, but it just seemed the more blades, the worse, even if they were Titanium. Being a fan of swords (and knives and archery and hunting) I figured straight razors were calling me, and they were! Haven't perfected the technique and still have a long journey to go but I am excited to say I threw away all of my modern crap and am fully submersed in the world of straight razors.

Super random question: Do you guys use straight razors on the family jewels down below haha?

Welcome to SRP. Ask questions as they arise and have fun. As for your super random question, I do believe there is a thread on manscaping buried somewhere in the bowels of SRP, you just have to be willing to search for it. If a recall, a member gave a VERY detailed description of his technique.

Hello and welcome to the forum. It will take a bit of practice but it will be well worth it once you build on your technique. Just hang in there dont give up. You haven't made any mistakes in dumping all the new fanggled high tech junk. Nothing beats a straight shave!!!
