    Default Another (possibly) expensive interest.

Hopefully this will be a bit cheaper than what I've spent on guitars. I blame SWMBO. She purchased my first, and so far, only straight razor. If I keep looking at Obie and Manah's classified listings, that might change pretty quickly.

Thanks for the site. It's fantastic.

Also, apologies if this is a duplicate post. Forum went down for maintenance right as I went to post.

Welcome to SRP! I think you'll find it less expensive than guitars, unless you go all out for custom razors and high end natural stones.

Welcome, Maybe you could get a combined guitar strap/strop and save money on both of your interests!

I sold one of my guitars and a pair of Yamaha S112V's to support my RAD! But hey, I now have like 15 shave ready straights with 6 or 7 in the sidelines needing some restoration, a set of Hones, a nice strop, a couple brushes, and some great soap! SWMBO is ok as long as I can support it without spending money we don't have, nothing on the old CC!

Welcome to the forum from another newbie. I don't know if it is cheaper than guitars but it sure is cheaper than photography.

Now if I could only find a way to combine the shave, guitar, a nice scotch and cigar, and Mr. Colt's 1911, I'd be freakin' set! Might be a touch too dangerous.

I love my razors, but I'll shave with an old rusted piece of sheet metal before I sell my guitar....

A bandoleer guitar strap/strop with a built in flask while smoking 45 caliber cigars!
