hello from... also VA
Hi,
I've been playing around with the idea of straight razor shaving for years and finally took the plunge about a month ago. I've found this site to be an absolutely invaluable tool for learning about every aspect of straight razors. So far I have a Boker 376, a Joseph Mappin that I believe to be from somewhere in the 1840's (in the midst of planning some new scales for it), and a Gustav Felix which is my shaver for now. In terms of hones I have a 220 diamond hone, a Boss Barber hone, and a chinese 12k (with ambitions to pick up a norton 4k/8k and maybe a 220/1k).
