Thread: Shaving Down The Mountain

Reckon I'll post something bout myself here. Been straight shaving for about a month and a half now, with a lot of help from the posts here. After a little trial and error, my shaves go like this:
Hot shower
strop 50 laps
Lather up with TOBS
Hot washcloth
AOS pre-shave oil (though I'll give glycerine a try after reading some posts)
Re-lather
Dovo olivewood 5/8 WTG, XTG, AGT, and touch up pass, re-lather for each one
Hot spash, cold splash
Thayer's Witch Hazel wipe down
Dominica or Ogallala Bay Rum AS

So far, it's a great ride. Shaves get better every day as I get down that lateral guillotine stroke across my throat to get hair that grows W-E there. A little flatpickin on the stereo or some blues slide, and it's almost as good as making doublins back home. Hope to see everyone around.
