Thread: New Guy

Hi All,
My name is Rusty, and I have always hated shaving. That was until about 6 weeks ago, when I picked up my first straight, a Rooney Silvertip, and a tub of Cella. A tedious task has become something I actually look forward to.
While away on a trip, I had seen a straight razor, brush, & soaps in a Tinderbox. That was enough to plant the seed. I remember thinking that the brush & soap must feel a heck of a lot better than slapping on some neutrogena shave cream and a disposable. When I made it home, I started surfing the web for info on SR's. I found this place. Ended up buying a Boker from SRD, and now look forward to the sunrise and a shave. Thank you all.

Oh, I guess I missed the addiction threads, or just ignored them. SRAD has hit me, hard.

Welcome to SRP Rusty. A straight shave is something to be enjoyed everyday. Sometimes you'll wish you could shave twice a day. Ask any questions you have and enjoy. As for the addictions, they will be along so enough.
