    Default Wannabe straight shaver from Erie Pa

    My name is Brian Farley and I have been wet shaving for about three years now. I think that I am ready to go even further back in my time machine and shave like they did before King Gillette came into the picture. I'm considering purchasing a straight razor "starter kit" from a website. I am looking forward to learning all that I can from those of you who have come before me. Thank you for everything and for helping a fresh face.

    Welcome to SRP Brian. Be sure to have one of our vendors that provide honing services hone your first razor once or twice so you are starting with a quality edge. If going with a new razor give Straight Razor Designs a look. They sell professionally honed straight razors, sell quality gear and are great to deal with.
