Thanked: 0Hi from NE Florida
Guys and Gals,
I wanted to take a second and say hello and to give a brief introduction of myself. For those wondering what RNLSGC means or stands for, well it is an abbreviation of what I collect. RNLSGC: Royal Naval Long Service Medal(s) (British). This is sort of my heart and soul as for collecting. To be fair and honest to all, I joined the forum to educate myself as to this unique lifestyle and hobby as I was left with a small collection of SR's. Hope that it is OK to abbreviate such for straight razors?
SR's are not my focus and I look to educate myself so that I can pass along those that I have to those that relish such. Much as in the way as I search for those RNLSGC medals that would fit within my collection.
Best wishes,
Mark

Welcome to SRP!
the best way to educate yourself about SR is to have at least one honed properly and learn to shave with it. Then you can pass the skill and knowledge down to your sons and grandsons. Book knowledge is ok but practical knowledge is so much better.
also we like pictures and while we will not do price evaluations we will let you know whether they are razors or merely razor shaped objects.
enjoy,
jim
