    Default Hey guys, nice to meet you!

    Hey all,

    New guy from NYC. I just bought my first ever straight razor, a Dovo best quality. Didn't want to splurge on the fancier blades just yet haha. Shaving has always been a time for relaxation for me, and with the addition of a straight razor, it has definitely become more enjoyable. I hope to learn more about the old world of shaving here. Nice to meet you guys!

    Will upload some pics soon. As for my shave prep, I always shave after a hot shower, then lather on some Jermyn soap from Taylor of Old Bond St. As for after shave I am actually using the after shave balm by Anthony Logistics. Strop: Latigo from Vintage Blades (I already got a small nick somehow, musta moved the blade a lil carelessly. Still need to get that X pattern down right).
