Thanked: 0New guy from Belgium...
Hi all,
A while ago a buddy of mine took me to this 'Turkish Barber' for a shave.
I thought he went nuts when he said it but, oh boy, i was wrong!!
After the shave i was hooked! I felt energised... clean as never before.
I thought by myself... Dude you can do this to!!
So today is the day... My first shave with my own brand new "gear"..
I went to 'De Messenwinkel'. A small shop in Antwerp (Belgium).
It took me about an hour and a half to get there but it was worth it.
The shop owner gave me alot of information!! I mean... the guy was absolutely passioned about shaving...
I've been in the shop for about 1,5 - 2 hours before i bought everything.
Kudos to the shop owner! He really took his time to explain everything!
Nice to meet all of you... And i'll see you on the Forum!
So this is my shaving gear:
Razor:
Dovo RedWood 5/8:
Brush:
Omega
Soap:

Thanked: 3First class gear, good luck for your shave, but I think the razor is not shave ready...
You may ask an experienced user to hone it for you. I advice you to do so, instead of honing it yourself, at least until you go back to the shop to buy also the stones

Thanked: 67I like the C&E Sienna soap - I used that for years even before switching to straights.
Enjoy your new kit!
