    Default Salutations!

My name is David and I have been lurking for a few months and would like to thank members of the forum for all the sage advice, sincere experiences and exquisite collections.
I have been wet shaving for years and a couple of years ago went to a DE until my nephew gave me a shavette Christmas last. The closeness of the shave was fantastic, but the shavette felt unbalanced in my hand. That is when I got a new Dovo/Col. Conk SR and stepped on the slippery slope......razors and strops from Larry at Whipped Dog (great guy and service)......Norton 4000/8000.....King 1000.....optical film......and then ebay. My latest acquisition is a Genco Lincoln, will post pics over at the razor club.
    This hobby is a disease.
Is there a cure for this?

Hi, aero, and welcome to SRP! Yes, there is one cure for HAD, RAD, SAD, and AOAD (Any Other Acquisition Disorder), but I don't recommend it: death.

    Buying another razor? <g>

    Charles

Ps -- my own collection has stabilized, I think. The "work drawer" has several razors that I'm not working on, and the "regular rotation" of a dozen or so razors hasn't changed in months. So there _may be_ some people who have self-limiting addictions.
