Thread: hello from NYC

Hey guys,
new to the straight razor shaving world and have had my fair share of cuts and nicks as part of the learning process. I started with a dovo shaveete and have a double duck golden edge being revamped by razor emporium and a dovo 28 being restored by mike mason. I'm using the art of shaving per shave gel shaving cream and after shave along with pro shave so far I'm enjoying every min of it I also have a leather strop. maintence is a learning curve but I'm getting it honing is something I'll have somebody else do and most likely will get into restoring for myself along with my other 200 hobbies lol look fwd to speaking with you all.,
