Thread: Greetings from Alberta Canada

Hello all,

Im new to the site not overly new to SR shaving. Although I'd still consider myself a beginner my brother insisted on me learning to SR shave since I started Shaving. While learning to shave was relatively easy for someone i've encountered difficulties but have never been discouraged or unhappy with my ritual which as such i've encouraged my best friend to start shaving and even start restoring razors which is what mainly brings me to the site. Im very impressed with the sheer wealth of information provided by all the Long time users and look forward to helping and learning as much as i possibly can. But ill post the issues I am having with shaving my chin in the appropriate forum

good to be here and for you all to see what im shaving with:

Boker King cutter, not sure which year my older brother restored it for me as a gift.
and a new Dovo "Best Quality" Razor is which i started with, my strop aint nothing to write home about though.
Art of shaving Lemon Shaving cream proraso, other assorted creams aswell... no soaps just yet.
Lemon Thayers witch hazelProraso Pre-post balm
and i usually end with Aveeno menthol face lotion


Still have alot to learn especially about additional shaving techniques and great products... still chasing that one perfect shave.

Good to see yet another Canadian join up, welcome. We somehow always manager to go through Lethbridge on our way to Waterton NP. Really enjoyed the visit we had to your Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden.
