Thanked: 0Greetings from Indianapolis!
Greetings from Indy! New member here. I have one straight razor from Aerial Cutlery that I'll be looking for information on here in the forum. It's for a friend wanting to sell it.
My grandfather was a barber for 55 years and I have all of his barber tools, clippers and several straight razors (not in very good shape). I also have the razor strap that hung in his barber shop for all those years. My other grandfather (from Italy) also used a straight razor and I have his razor strap that he used.
Yes, I'm well aware that it has more sentimental than monetary value. But it's nice to know what or if these items are worth anything.
About me? Home brewer. Avid BBQ'r/smoker of massive quantities of meat. Baker of fine breads for 28 years. It takes my mind off of the IT job of 32 years..
cheers!

Thanked: 0Thanks!
Thanks shooter- I understand. I'm not really looking for appraisals because I know it's subjective in many ways. I was hoping to just find general values of this type of razor. I'll post some pictures of the stuff I have later. I find that items this small don't photograph very well with my camera.

Welcome to SRP. Probably the best way for you to get an idea of a razor's general value is to check ebay for similar razors and completed auctions. Hope you enjoy the forum and ask any questions you have.

Greetings and welcome, IndyBreadGuy. Fellow Hoosier here, about 55 miles south of you. Bitten by the straight razor shaving bug about a year and half ago, thanks to a friend from northern Indiana.
Enjoy the bread, barbecue and blades!
