Thread: Hi all from western PA

Hi,
Im not sure if I should be posting or not. I recently became a member but I havent actually been able to get a stright razor yet, so alll i know is what I hear from others. I had always wanted to use a stright razor but never really looked into it thinking no one but barbers really did it anymore. Well now I know I was wrong I was at my local mall and found a "The Art Of Shaving" store went in and talked to a guy and now cant wait to get my first stright razor. Just looking for something I can afford at the moment. I know it is an investment and pays off in the end but still dont have the money to get everything yet.
Anyway this sight is awsome so glad its here and looking forward to the nice close shaves I will be enjoying soon.

Welcome to SRP! Check the classifieds, there are always decent prices for shave-ready razors, without the inherent risk from the bay.

Im in Pittsburgh. And I think I found a good deal on craigs list actually but Im trying to find some more info from the guy before I buy.

Hey there fellow yinzer! Born and raised in western PA. Stuck out here in the sonoran desert for the last five years. If I were you I'd fill the gas tank and cross the border to visit srp's store. I know I wish I was that close! Lol I'd drive it if it were 5 hours away
