Been reading stuff rom the site and learning a lot of tips and tricks. I currently use a Wade and Butcher that I rescaled, cleaned and honed. The blade is a presidential commemorative, with "Old Rough and Ready" and a portrait of Zachary Taylor on it. I ralize the scales are a little bulky and the pins are large, but I was excited to finsih it so I could shave with it. I used padauk for this one and have rescaled a Shapleigh Diamond edge with purpleheart that looks more traditional with thinner scales and smaller pins. Sorry for the crappy pics. I will try to add some of the other razor as well.
This razor makes shaving a treat and I find myself shaving more often because I like using it!

Welcome to the forums!! Nice job on the razor. I heard that Wade and Butcher are very nice razors. I have yet to own one. I am sure that you will like it here.

Redoing these razors has given me an excuse to go back out in the garage and use some tools and learn new skills. I had never peened rivets before and now I will rescale some fixed blade knives that have been laying around.
I spent yesterday making a new handle for a leather strop I picked up in an antique store for $3 and planing down somw mahogany, white oak, and maple into blanks in order to rescale the razors I don't yet own....I sense a new habit coming on....
