Thread: Hello Everyone

Hi I just joined the site because of all the information available and the nice people I hope to give back as much as I take I just started wet shaving this year with a straight razor I bought a Dovo best quality razor 5/8 full hollow and a badger brush with a bowl and a strop and my friends brother who is a barber sold me a barber hone it's red on one side and gray on the other it also has an oval ingraved on it with stars does anyone know what kind of hone it could be?

It sounds like you have the gear that you need so now it is just a matter of practice.

You might want to post in the Hones forum with a pic of your barber hone. It has a better chance of being identified in that forum.
