Thread: Newbie reporting in

Hi guys,

Been lurking around but never got the chance to say hi yet...just because I don't own any gear back then. Now that I got em and started using straight razor for shaving, I think it's high time to introduce myself to this forum.

My name is Faisal and I'm from Malaysia. Although i've been using wet shaving for the past 15 years, I've only been using straight razor for about a week. I've always been fascinated with straight razor and finally took the plunge for it. I'm a daily shaver with a straight now and never had a more satisfying shaving experience. Now I can fully appreciate the more seasoned members description of a great shaving experience. So far, I don't have that much problem getting a good clean shave altho I nicked myself about 3 times in the past week. Hope It'll get less soon.

Anyway, I hope to gain more knowledge, making more friends and improving my technique via this forum. Thanks for sharing the knowledge and experience with regards to straight razor. God bless and enjoy the weekend.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys...I currently have 3 razors coming my way...nobody told me this thing can be very addictive very fast!! Currently making a leather case for the razors; will post it soon in the respective sub forum.
