Thanked: 3Newbie with a mission
Hi all, been checking out this site for a while, decided to join cos I have a mission in mind- I am going to try a series of whiskys and rums as aftershaves, love this idea ( which I got from a thread ) so starting tomorrow I'll try rum as an aftershave and post my review then I'll move on to whiskys and bourbons, why you ask?
well, aside from the fact cowboys did it, and highlanders, its cheap, I love the smells and no nasty chemicals and just for the hell of it.
Should just add, been wet shaving forever but with cartridge or worse, disposables, found DE kinda by error and love it, tried a straight once aged 15 and cut myself real bad, just gone back to it with a Dovo straight and love it! Great way to shave.
Currently fighting off several acquisition disorders, razors and creams etc are sooo collectible!
Anyone care to join me? Or got any particular drink they want reviewed?Last edited by Slaine; 08-05-2012 at 10:15 AM. Reason: Spelling

I have used a mixture of witch hazel and rum it worked pretty good but the scent didnt last very long at all. I wish you luck. And if nothing else you can drown your sorrows with your aftershave. LOL

I prefer to let the rum soak through from within, however, you have a good idea.
