Hello everyone, I have always admired how my father would shave with his straight razor and DE razor, and the way he would prepare for "his time," in the bathroom.
Sadly, he left this world several years ago, and I wanted to do something to remember him. I inherited his vintage shaving gear and only recently really started to try to use them. I have been reading all the advice on this forum on how to hone, strop, and prepare for a wonderful shaving experience. No wonder my father loved "his time." I still need advice and hope to learn more with help from this forum, my styptic pencil is really being used alot by me, hopefully not much longer. I hope I will do you proud, and look forward to learn the art of shaving.
