    My name is Guillaume, I live in Paris and I collect straight razor since one year and a half.
    I really like english and french razors of the 19e century.
    I do antics shop in Paris, old hairdresser, fleamarket to find them.
    I am now practicing on honing with my belgian stone.
    This site is really excellent, I'm learning a lot.

    Welcome, Guillaume. 'Good to have you.

    You may wish to search some of the how-to videos on honing w/ the coticule. Lynn had a great one recently. I've used it to good effect. Don't ignore the blue side if your stone is a combination BBW/coticule. The sharpness of the blue side is excellent, and any harshness can be tamed by subsequent strokes on the yellow side.
