There are always some great deals in our classifieds here, and many are honed to a superb level.

Welcome to SRP. There are plently of vendors here who can get you started on the right track with a new razor, or members here offering razors for sale in the classifieds. Take some time, do some research and ask questions, your face and your wallet will thank you.

Welcme Hugo from SanDiego! (I am a poet!) I have never had the guts to shave with a Feather blade like that. It seems scary to me!
You should do fine! Straights are great. I recommend vintage ones!

Just adding my welcome. All the threads are good. You can use the search function to search the whole history of the threads for mentions of particular razors (that's how I made my first well-informed purchase of a vintage straight, though it wasn't my first purchase of a vintage straight), and have a look through our Wiki (the Library link at the top of the page) for info from general to specific. We can get pretty amazingly specific sometimes!

    Best wishes to you.

I agree with sharptonn, vintage razors are really wonderful.
