Hello everyone,

I started gathering beat up vintage razors over the past few months to try my hand at restoring some. I've helped my father restore lots of WW2 era swords and some older Japanese pieces over the years as that is one of his many hobbies, and I started picking up vintage razors at the random estate sales and things I would visit with him. I don't know what it was about the razors in particular, but I've always found them to be very interesting. With the desire to start restoring razors I also started wanting to try shaving with one of course. I found this site while looking to buy a vintage razor that was already honed and shave ready so that I would have a base line to compare my progress with. So... I'll probably be buying one from one of you fine gentlemen in the classified section pretty soon. I've already learned a ton just from looking around the site!
