Thread: Hello from MI

Hi guys, my name is Aaron. I stumbled upon this site a while back and really got into the idea of shaving with a straight razor. In the meantime, I have been pondering it and whatnot, and now I've finally decided to give it a try. I always remember my old man using one, and I love getting the treatment at the barber, so I really feel the need to get on with it. I'll be sure to do my reading too, so I don't mess with you old guys too much

I currently do not own one, but I hope to get one very soon (this month). I'll be reading to make an educated choice, so I don't screw myself. I'm sure that there is tons of bad razors running around. I'd gladly take any suggestions in the meantime.
