I've been reading the forums here for a little and finally registered.

I am pretty new to using straight razors but, am probably a life long convert.

Wecome to SRP. Since you've been looking around the forum already you've probably found the beginners tips, wiki (now Library), classifieds and vendors sections. If not, you'll find some good info in them, also razors offered by our members, for sale and also in the vendors section, honing services and restoration, etc. This really wasn't a commercial, even if it kind of sounded like one, but a lot of these things come up frequently as questions so thought I'd let you know they were here. if you have questions there are probably multiple threads on it and the search function at the top right works great. If you can't find the info you need there are plenty of members ready to help, so ask away in the appropriate forum. Good having you on board, and once again, Welcome!!
