Thanked: 0yet another new member hello
Hello,
Signed up recently and wanted to say hi. I really am impressed with the wealth of information here and how deep this "hobby" goes.
I have an older razor that I plan on making a thread about in the razor's section. It needs at least a honing, which I'm planning on contacting someone about from the classifieds section.
Until my razor is ready I've been keeping with my current system, but have switched to lathering with an Arko stick and TGN brush (I did the epoxying). Looking to also build a hanging strop (thanks Jimbo) since I have the leather and the leatherworking skills.
Maybe some of you can tell I'm trying to get the best bang for my buck and I'm sure I'd have spent twice as much without all the quality advice I've found here on the forums. I'm hoping by joining and participating on some level I can help return the favor.
Cheers and thanks again!

Welcome to SRP, glad to have you. You are right, there are loads of info around here. While you're waiting, take some time to browse up a bit. I'm aure using real lather already has improved your shaving experiences.
Looking forward to seeing your razor!

Welcome! Take it slow and read as much as you can. The videos are amazing and will give you the extra edge (yeah, I know, a badly overused pun) in your shaving.
