Hello everyone.
I found a lot of good information here and decided to join.
Tried a straight razor when I was in my teens but it scared me!
The blade really rang when it cut whiskers!
I still have that razor, an old Case's Ace in it's original box.
I have grown tired of electrics and my Quattro.
Decided to go for it!

Welcome! Show us pics of your Case's Ace. Sounds like it must be a very hollow grind if it was that talkative. Do you have a strop for it? Where do you live? There may be nearby members who can help you out.
