Thread: Hello from MD!

Hello! I've been using straight razors for almost a year now and I'm really starting to enjoy it. I started using them initially because my stubble could blunt a disposable in no less then three days and that was getting very expensive.
I had no idea how much I was going to enjoy my new way of shaving though; I love starting my day this way now and find it very meditative. Now that I'm more experienced I'm starting to get into buying more and higher quality razors ( my first was a tad on the cheap side and gave me trouble ). I'm glad I got a cheapo to start with, it forced me to refine my technique for stropping, shaving and honing given that it dulled rather quickly on my course facial hair.
