Hello,
I would like to take this opportunity to indroduce myself to you all. My name is Dave I live in a little town called Middlesbrough in the North East of England and I am a Newbie.
when i say new this is what i mean im 29 years old so by the time i started shaving it was cartridge or nothing thats all that is really sold so ive never used anything else.
i have had a straight razor shave before from a turkish barber and enjoyed it plus the hair did not seem to grow back as quick unless that was a novelty thing!
so with that said no doubt i have loads of questions as i have no kit YET! so sorry in advance

Hi forgot I had this account anyway I never did start straight razor shaving but have been DE shaving which I'm enjoying and choose as I found information and products more freely available but I one day will progress to straight shaving just wish products were more freely available locally to me.

Hi and welcome.
Nice to see another UK member. Yes wet shaving supplies are not too bad to get here in UK, but mainly online unless your lucky enough to have a store near you.
I started with a straight then went to DE's for 3-4 years and Im back on straights,
