Thanked: 0Hello from Missouri
I have been reading your site for several weeks and have been extremely excited to try shaving with a straight razor. Purchased my new DOVO last week 5/8 full hollow ( purchased from classic shaving) and learned how to strop at least well enough to shave the first time. No nicks I was surprised. Definitely need practice but the first go was a success! Thanks for all the info on this site. It has been extremely helpful!

Welcome USMC!! As you can already tell its a great forum. Many very knowledgable members always ready to help. Ask if you can't find the answer in the forum or archives and I know there will be someone(s) with the answer, or the path to the answer. Enjoy, and great shaves!!
