    Hello all,

I have been using this forum as a resource for great information for awhile now, and I felt like it was about time I say hello.

So, hello there!! Thanks to all who have contributed to make this site such a great resource for information.

Little bit about me, I converted from disposable cartridges and goop in a can to a straight and a DE about three years ago. I tend to use a DE more during the week and a straight on the weekend or whenever I have the time to treat myself.

Glad your here, I"m not new or old to this stuff but like you I spend alot of time just reading and learning, and the one thing that keeps coming up is that I"m not the only one. You say DE during the week and straights on the week end?, well me too so your not alone, fill at home here ask, read, learn and enjoy. We are all in this together.
P.S Have you got RAD yet? it bit me right away

    Hobby!?
Welcome sir, I think just about everyone here started/were lurkers at some point I have two Merkurs myself, and still break those out when I'm in a hurry, or just feel like messin' with them. No need to choose one or the other; both forms of RAD are just as good in my book! Eventually you will get to where you start using your straight during the week, and it's all downhill from there bro. So kick back, learn, question, and experiment. That's what makes this so much fun!

Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

It has been building steam for a little while now, and is a full blown disorder at this point. Thanks for the warm welcome.
