Thread: New to traditional shaving...interested in straights

Hello all! I just recently started DE shaving and I love it! I've been interested in straight razor shaving for a long time now, but don't know where to start. I sill need to learn about straights (the good and the bad), as well as how to properly use them. I look forward to learning as much as I can here, and sharing my experience along the way.

The good news is you've found the place to start! I suggest a lot of reading on here to get started. Make sure you check out the Wiki and read up in the beginners forums. Chances are a lot of your initial questions will be answered between those two areas. Check out the members in your area, there may be one or two close by who will be willing to give some one on one time with you. Also, any questions you have, just post and I guarantee you'll get quick, (mostly) helpful responses. We've got a lot of knowledge here and the folks on board are more than willing to share it to ensure you get the most out of your new found religion ... I mean, hobby ..... I mean, interest ...... well, you get the picture!
