    Default New member from Belgium

    Hello my name is Jens from Belgium and I always been fascinated by knives and sharpening them.
    Planning on getting a straigt razor as soon as possible.

    Got here to get more info on them before buying one.

    Welcome to the forum Jens. Ask any questions you need to, the only dumb question is the one you never ask...Oh yeah, got any coticules you want taken off your hands, or near ya? Well, keep us posted on what you decide to get for your first, b/c it won't be your last I'm sure.

    No sorry no coticules. . However my dad told me when he was young they sharpened the knives on the windowsill because it is made of almost the same material of the coticule only a lot cheaper. .

    I actually have no idea. . I'll ask him again and post of picture of the windowsill we have now. No idea if you can sharp a knife on it. .
