    Hello everyone my name is Sean and I am a new member and I am excited to be a part of this website....I was born in the Bay Area moved to Vegas and now me and my family live in the salt lake valley.... I own 4 straight razors which include a dubl duck goldedge and a henckels zwillingswerk friodur 78 1/2 also a wade and butcher supposedly from the civil war era and my most recent purchase was an anton wingen jr Othello #100 of which I am trying to get some information on like how the Othello will stack up against the others and some history on the razor...any help will be much appreciated....Thanks

    You say you own several straight razors...thats cool...but do you shave with them? If not, we have gotta get you there!

    All of the razor's you mention are good middle of the road razors, I have owned and still may have all you have mentioned.

    Welcome to SRP!
    sounds like you are off to a great start all those are great razors to have. my opinion is with proper honing and stropping you will get very good shaves with any of them.
    for my money i find the WB razor to be less than great shavers but they are readily available and most people overvalue them the german made hollow and extra hollow grinds for me are easier to maintain and just sound great as they remove the beard.
