Hey guys, Im from Slidell. Don't know anyone else who shaves with a SR. If any of you guys wanna get together lemme know. Im pretty new the art myself so it would be nice to have a mentor.

Haven't been on the site for awhile and am glad to see there are more str8 shavers around here. We'll have to see if we can get together after the holidays and have a talk.

Hi all!

I know this is a couple month old thread but I wanted to add my hello from the big easy as well!!! Also was curious if this get together happened or not?? If not I wouldn't mind getting together to chat and talk razors! I'm a bit further out... Belle Chasse, but I like driving so... anyone still interested??

Hi Murmle,

Pacho lives in Kenner. At least two in Slidell, 2 -3 more in kenner/metaire/harahan. Know one in B.R. I have emails for several. There's been a little talk, but so far nothing formal to set up a meet. Maybe one of us should make contact with all and get emails and see if we can't work something out.

Somebody, anybody....just set a date, time and place. Announce it here and in the Get Togethers forum. Then send a PM/email to each SRP member on the list with the info. Don't bother looking for a common date good for everyone. It does not happen. It will start off small but will grow each time you organize it.

I will do what randal said. I have a restaurant with plenty ofspace, flat Stainless tables for honing and big sinks. I live in slidell and we are closed sundays so it would have to be then. I am tied up for a month but if anyone wants to meet in the meantime give me a shout and we.will set up a time
