hey guys, been lurking for a while, just got a few ebay cheapies and a 4000/8000 wetstone.

I have shaved 5 times now, trying to get the edge to a nice plane and getting better each time!!!

Welcome to SRP!! Home brewer huh! I did a little of that back in the 70's and 90's. Enjoyed it, but too labor intensive for me now. Takes time from straight razor stuff. OK, OK, not really, but I do hate the bottle sterilization process.
