    Hello everybody !
    I am Jean-Yves, from Paris, France. I have been using straight razors for years. I have a collection of a hundred or so straights razors (mainly french and german). By the way you can see it there on my blog : Sur le fil (aka "On the edge") Sur le fil
    It's great for me to meet such passionate people as I am and sharing information (SR identification, repairing, restoration...).

    Aloha welcome to SRP! I will be visiting your fine city in December, it will be my first time to France. I have found one Shaving Shop thus far Planet Razor, are there others? Do you know of someone who could hone a razor for me while I am there? Nice blog sir.

    I'm glad to know you will soon go to Paris. Here are two adressses I can recommand for honing :
    - Coutellerie Courty 44, rue des Petits Champs - 75002 Paris - Tél : 01 42 96 59 21 - Courty
    - Coutellerie Renaud 128 rue de provence 75008 Paris - Tél. : 01 43 87 40 65 - Armurerie - Armurerie Renaud à Paris
    There's also a fine shop for spending your money with a dedicated aera to shavers : BHV (Bazar de l'Hôtel de Ville) 52, rue de Rivoli 75189 Paris - BHV - LE GRAND MAGASIN ESPRIT BAZAR. It is a huge department store when you will find anything.
