Thread: Hello From California

Hi,

The name is Roy. I started shaving a couple weeks ago after acquiring a Red Point razor and some of the other goodies required. I have learned a lot and still learn a lot from each shave experience. I am getting much better at stropping.. quite a learning curve there.. my first couple shaves where pretty rough but I am learning how to control the razor better.

Like most things the bug bites.. I am not extremely pleased with this razor and I am not sure if it is me or the razor.. most likely the former. I bought a Dubl Duck goldenedge off ebay and hope to see that soon. The blade has some discoloration but the edge looks in good shape. I am really excited to get that.

Well I am glad to be part of the community and hope I can learn more.
