Weeks lol? Where do you live?
Congrats - you are going to love it. More importantly, you are going to love how you look once you have straights down.

Just ordered a new toy!
I live in Mississippi, but with the holiday tomorrow I figure it probably won't ship out until towards e end of the week.

Hi Wxman,
You'll like that set up, I'm sure. However, remember that the razor comes shave ready from SRD. Don't strop it or anything else when you get it. Use it as it comes for that first shave, and then strop slow and easy before the next shave. Good Luck!!, Good Shaves, and if you run into problems, ask away. If I can help in any way, feel free to PM me!
Best Regards,
Howard.
PS: I'm assuming you ready the beginner tips, etc. in the Wiki. If not, the link is below and I encourage you to study it prior to that first shave. Enjoy!!

Been reading the beginner stuff for a bit now, so trying to learn as much as I can. Splurged on the DVD that they offer too just to make sure I have it all covered

Now I just need to talk my wife (Amleay) into buying one of these for her too!

If it's not her thing, a DE is a great cost effective way to go as well, a good brush and some cream and she will be hooked!
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Actually, I rather not spend any money on me, but I liked the Dovo special edition classic Shaving. It's a lot of money to spend in one day tho.

This thread is great.
Nothing better than a man and wife starting up this hobby together!
