Thread: Hello From Maryland

Hey Everyone!

I joined this forum because I enjoy doing things the old fashion way. I started and became rather proficient with a SR during my time in the Corps! Semper Fidelis to all you Teufel Hunden out there and happy birthday!

I have been using a single injector blade straight razor, but looking for something better. I truly enjoy the entire process of taking the time to shave using a SR and want to take it to the next level. I just went through a kit from the Art of Shaving that consisted of shave cream, pre shave oil, skin exfoliator and moisturizer.

I am want to learn as much as possible from the members of this forum and looking for suggestions and recommendations on purchasing a SR, strop and products to boot.

Straight razor designs it's a great place to buy..so it's whipped dog from what I have heard..and of course the classified section here..can not go wrong with any of those to start..plus the sub forums here for just about everything..lots of reading but allot of details and suggestions..

Asking questions here will probably get you about a hundred answers as well..

Thanks aespo, I was just on SRD's website. Where does one even begin? So much to choose from. It's going to take awhile to figure that out.
