    Default New CA straight shaver

    Hello all,
    I've come here in search of those with more experience. I don't personally know anyone who shaves with a straight razor and it has all been trial and error for me. I've been shaving with my Hart Steel SR for a few months now and each shave is better than the last. Now to learn how to hone...

    Welcome to SRP. I would suggest getting an inexpensive vintage razor to practice honing instead of the Hart Steel.
