    Default Greetings from Malaysia

    Hello everyone!

    I have been using disposables for around 20 years now (I did use my father's DE safety razor when I was learning to shave, and remember it as a painful experience).

    As the greys creep inexorably onwards, I have decided to purchase a Dovo Ebony Stainless 5/8" Straight Razor Set from SRD. Considering the high humidity where I live, I hope I have made the right choice in getting a stainless for my first razor.

    I hope to survive my first straight razor shave with it.

    Welcome and good luck! Sounds like you have plan... Just remember to keep that stropd dry too. Leather molds quick over there!

    Aloha and Welcome to SRP! I sounds like you picked a good razor to start with, good luck. Read the Wiki/Library many useful tips there. I am curious to see how my razor holds up when I get back to my island. I hope to make it over to your country one day for a holiday.
