Default Hello from San Antonio Tx

names RandomHero (Roger) figured id make an intro thread with you guys. I started my DE shaving about 2 months ago after finding the Wicked_Edge subreddit. I used to shave 2 times a week, 3 if i had something i needed to look decent for. Im baby faced so it didnt matter much. I now find myself shaving every other day, and sometimes every day. Ive also acquired a bunch of stuff too.

i currently have 2 gillette superspeeds, 2 gillette travel techs (1 with an extra full sized handle) and a Lord l6. i also have a HJM by Muhle brush. ive been looking to make the jump into straight razors and joined this forum to become part of the community and learn. Hope to talk to some of you guys some more and learn myself on this straight razor shave thingy.

    G'Day Roger and welcome.

I dont know much about DE's, however, I do have a Gillette flare tip from the year I was born (1956).

Any help you want regarding cut-throats, just ask - we're here to help

Welcome, many guys here went from DE to straights (myself included). Heck some of us still use the DE's from time-to-time. Ask plenty of questions and read as much as you can; we'll be glad to help when (noticed I didn't say if) you need it.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
