Thanked: 0New from Alabama
Hi. Decided to start the straight razor shave about three months ago on a whim. Ordered a Parker SR1 and a cheap brush/bowl kit and started to read about technique wherever I could. So far so good. I can acheive a very good shave in a relatively small amount of time. I am looking into purchasing an actual straight razor, but will have to see. Family and other hobbies (fishing, camping) tend to take a lot of $ and time.
Been married 8years, have two kids with one on the way.
Thanks

Welcome to SRP. Good to see another Alabama guy on here. Keep an eye out on the classifieds, usually a good deal to be had there, and will come shave ready.

Thanked: 102Have never found a decent razor there. I plan to sell off my collection soon except for my personal rotation. Thought about renting a case there. Rent is expensive. Have a guy in Birmingham who is going to hook me up with a collector. I will see how that goes. I usually make the Flea Mall at least once a month. My wife and sisteri in law love it. I usually drop them off and go to Dogone Book Store in Irondale. and pass the day off there.

D.M. could you PM me any other flea markets. All we have here is the apple barrel antiques near Los Mex before the exchange, and they are outrageous! I haven't been to Mountain Top in years though, would it be worth the drive to Collinsville?
