Hello from South Africa
Hi everyone,
I've finally decided to take the plunge into the world of straight razors and am looking forward to it immensely
Unfortunately, its not really something well catered for in South Africa so getting all the equipment ready is a little difficult. But I'm well on my way to my first shave!
Thanks to everyone for the hugely insightful posts here, they have been very helpfully in getting me going.
Cheers
Chris

Welcome Chris,
I am not one to openly sponsor a particular vendor in a thread. Take a look on our site at some or the advertisements & surf the net. Ask them about shipping to your destination.

Thanked: 3225Hi Chris
Welcome to the forum. Just look around here there quite a few useful posts on where to get the gear you will need. We were in SA just recently and have to say we had a nice time there. You have a beautiful country to live in.

Welcome to SRP Chris. It is always a pleasure to have new members join us. You will find some friends here of a like mind
when it comes to straight shaving and probably several who would be glad to remail to you any purchase from an online
store that would not send to you directly. Enjoy and if you get to the point you desire to hone your own razors you have
a great hone supplier in SA with you.Bob

Thanks for all the replies
Its great to join a forum where everyone is so welcoming. I've already been put in touch with another SRP member right here in SA who may potentially be the answer to my equipment problems, so hopefully I'll be able to keep my business right here at home
