Thanked: 0Greetings from Fort Riley, KS
Hello everyone,
My name is Trevor. I am a soldier in the United States Military. I've been interested in straight shaving for a couple years but have yet to "find the time" (excuses, excuses) to explore it. I am receiving a razor and strop for Christmas and look forward to learning from the wealth of experience this forum brings.
Best regards,
-Trevor

Welcome! Is Junction City still an armpit? I was there in 85'.. It was the worst town back then.. Drinky bars and stab and puke dives..

Thanked: 20Welcome Trevor! Be sure to take in the atmosphere in the little apple when the Wildcats play in the Fiesta bowl!
Try not to do your first couple of shaves during ammunition testing! If I recall, they usually timed those things to be late at night during the weeks that the students have finals!
Again, welcome to the journey and take your time to enjoy it!

Thanked: 0Hi again everyone. Thanks for the kind words!
-Wintchase; Imagine that armpit you're thinking of... Now put on a good coat of old spice speed stick. It's still a dump but the whole bar, stabs scene has disappeared and they have tried to liven it up.
Waterdog247; Much appreciated.
dustoff003; 68X is a Behavioral Health Technician. I take care of our boys coming home with PTSD and other psych related issues.
carpedm; They still do live fire at all times of the day and late evenings. I'll be careful to heed your warning!
