I am in the US Army on a deployment to Afghanistan. Every deployment I try to pick up something new. Last one was cigars now straight razors. I'm on a budget and will probably pick things up piece meal until I have everything I need. My only worry is being able to keep the blade sharp without being near someone that can hone it for me. I will get all the things necessary to keep a shave ready blade, but not confident in my ability to not mess up the blade. I would appreciate any advice to my special situation. I haven't purchased anything yet. I can across the site researching products and instructions on the whole process. Hope everyone has a great Christmas!
