Hello from Hershy, PA
My name is leighton and i have been looking at getting a SR for about a year now. I just havent found a place with complete enough research and answers for all my questions looks like there is very knowledgeable people on here. Im in the military so i will be using my razor daily when i receive.
Cheers and looking forward to learning lots for the people here.

Welcome to the forum & to the world of straight razor shaving. Theres much to learn here & lots of practice on your part, but the final outcome will definitely be worth it.
I see your from Hershy PA. Cool I'm from Philadelphia. There are a good number of Pennsylvania boys around as well.

You might get frustrated if you try to dive in too fast. Give yourself some time. Tackle small sections at a time.

Thanks and to bad there isnt someone with a shop around here that sells straight razors.

Yes the closest thing to a store around these parts is Art Of Shaving in King Of Prussia. Good stuff but high prices. Stick to the internet for sales. There are many superior vendors here on the site that will hook you up proper. Originally Posted by leighton1245

Haven't been to this shop yet, but it's about 1 hr. from Hershey, PA they carry Boker straight's
