    Default Hello from Auckland NZ

23 year old who is just starting out here. I've had a few shaves so far and have had decent results on my cheeks but everywhere else is proving much harder but will keep at it.
I have a problem with my hands which effects my finger dexterity so this journey might be harder for me than most but I will do it!
The flip when I'm stropping is proving most difficult at the moment for me but with my hands practice is all I need. I look forward to getting better and hopefully some day helping others.

I have to admit that is more original than saying Orcs or Hobbits lol
Saying that I love LOTR and the Hobbit so I don't mind!

I was in Auckland a few years ago for New Year's Eve. Stayed at the Sky Tower. Beautiful city. Really loved Shakespeare's (mainly because the owner gave me and a friend free drinks for no particular reason) and the Thai food. I was also fortunate enough to see Christchurch before that horrible string of earthquakes. Lot of good memories of your city and your country. Hope to make it back someday.

    Enough gushing; welcome aboard!

We've already spoken, but welcome grayman11. Take it nice and slow while stropping and gradually build up muscle memory and you might be right. Good luck to you.

Thanks Mick I'm waiting on a nice razor from Whippeddog but untill that arrives I have a cheap razor I'm just using to practice my stropping technique, it's slowly getting better and by the time my nice razor comes I hope to have it so I am keeping it nice and flat and have the roll as I change direction down.

Jamie I'm in the wrong country I have no interest in Rugby it's all about football and Chelsea FC!!
