Never enjoyed cutting my face so much!
Hey guys I'm new to straight razors, I've been raving about them for a while now after I got my first shave at a barber shop... so much so that my girlfriend went and got me a nice kit from The Art of Shaving for christmas.
She got me a c135 carbon steel Thiers Issar.
So far I've used it three times with interesting results, and a lot of questions to ask.

Welcome! Hopefully you'll get to the point where you're enjoying the smooth shave more than cutting yourself
The TI is a nice razor, hopefully wherever your girlfriend got it honed it since they don't come shave ready from the factory.

Thanks for the tip Weaselripped, they told her that its shave ready up to 3 shaves. But I'm not experienced enough to tell if it is or not, I need to get it honed, but I havent found a barber shop here that will do it :/
